No. 1 Kentucky Bluegrass
Zander Sod’s Number 1
Kentucky Bluegrass is the most popular choice for
residential and commercial lawns, sports fields and
parks. We custom blend top performing cultivars,
producing a turf which is specifically suited to our
climatic zone with excellent temperature and drought
tolerance as well as high resistance to disease. Our
Kentucky Blue provides an attractive, dense turf with
great colour from spring to fall.
Bentgrass
Zander
Sod’s premium Bentgrass has been chosen by some of
Ontario’s leading golf courses. With its rich colour,
thick density, low growing habit, and disease
resistance, our Bentgrass is perfect for golf greens and
fairways. Grown on USGA spec. sand, Zander Sod’s
Bentgrass is the perfect match to your green. Bentgrass
is also available on a native sand base, ideal for
topsoil and topsoil/sand blend root zones. Many
varieties are available
Extreme
Fescue
One of Zander Sod's specialties is this blend of turf
grass. The fine fescues are drought resistant and have
unique visual characteristics, whereas the bluegrass
provides rhizomes, deep colour and superb recuperative
properites. This product is ideally suited to the golf
course in "naturalization areas."
